1) Elizabeth at reluctantlandord.net wrote about 30 frequently asked and answered land lording questions.
I like that under each answer to the question Elizabeth added links to more information and other resources. This way if you want more information you can easily get it.
2) At Landlordology.com they wrote about the Top Skill to Perfect: Painting.
This is a skillset that I have developed overtime and it has saved money. However, I also have realized and accepted that I don’t like to paint, and it’s better for everyone if I get someone else to do it. This article has some great tips on how to improve your painting skills.
3) Gus Ross on the biggerpockets.com blog wrote about why he has invested in affordable housing.
We’ve built and rent a lot of apartments to seniors on fixed income and I was glad to read about someone else having success renting affordable housing.
4) On the buildium.com blog they wrote a timely article about what to do if your pipes freeze.
After reading my post last week this was a timely article. I’m just glad that I didn’t have to actually use this information!
